10 Years On at Bridge the World

Well as you can see form these pictures Bridge the World went from strength to strength in a matter of just ten years. We had become well known for our round the world travel expertise and knowledge. We had just over 110 staff and four offices (three in Camden and one in Regent Street). Do you like the post cards below? They tell a story – we were still receiving them from happy customers from around the world right up to the Millennium and the turn of the century (2000) as the internet had not quite taken off, so to speak!

Yes this was our USA department, thank you Nick & Claire for doing an excellent job for us.

A massive step – moving into the new offices in Chalk Farm Road.

Good old Odette…always so good with our clients – so where are you now?

It’s all about communication – the more serious monthly news & views of the company.

More postacards from happy travellers…sadly, the internet & sending emails were just around the corner which quickly put an end to sack loads of cards…!

Classic staff newsletter, pretty informal – Christmas edition

Getting bigger & bigger – a great team by the late 1990’s…

Thank you BA – yes I always did like aeroplanes…

I believe you Bruce – hitting the £25m T/O barrier for the first time…

Bridge the World’s memorable 10 year party at ‘Le Jongeleurs’ – Camden Town – 1999

Well, I didn’t think my speech went on too long & they were laughing….!

All present & correct – the ‘who’s who’ of the travel industry…

Bruce cracking a joke…am sure it was funny!

Some of the many travel industry characters – Madelene, Tommy & my dear friend Alister…

What a laugh – happy staff & travel friends…

‘I T man’ – the one and only Mr. Barry Selwyn…
